How are you going?

Everyone’s experience of pregnancy, birth and parenting is unique and brings different rewards and challenges. Our mental health checklist can help you to see if what you’re experiencing or observing in a loved one could be reason to seek help.

PANDA's mental health checklist asks you questions based on possible symptoms of postnatal anxiety and/or depression. Experiencing these symptoms does not make you a bad parent, but could indicate that you need some support with your mental wellbeing.

This checklist will not give you a diagnosis, only a health professional can provide this. Completing a checklist will help you to better understand what you are experiencing, and assist you to get help if needed.

Complete this checklist to see if what you’re experiencing could be a reason to seek help. The checklist will ask you about changes you have noticed in three different areas: your body and behaviour, your thoughts and feelings and your relationships.
