Please note that we accept volunteer applications at any time, however recruitment for this volunteer program is currently closed. If you apply now, we will be in touch to discuss your application once our next volunteer intake is underway in 2021.

After we receive your application, we will be in touch to arrange time for a 10-15 minute phone interview, to have an initial discussion about this volunteer program, your interest in applying, and your readiness to undertake the training this year.

Please note that training this year, as well as the face-to-face interview part of the recruitment process, will be happening online.

After the phone interview, some applicants will be invited to participate in a face-to-face interview (over Zoom) during office hours.

The face-to-face interview takes approximately one hour. It will help you explore in more depth with us whether you are well enough recovered from your experience of perinatal anxiety and depression to undertake this work. It will also explore the skills you bring to this role, and how you might handle its challenges. We ask you to bring two referees, professional or personal.

If you are successful we will offer you a place in the next training program which will run in early 2021. Training dates are confirmed and available online well in advance. CET volunteer training programs are usually held once a year. Early applications are encouraged.
